The Parish Council’s finances are the responsibility of the Responsible Financial Officer which is our Parish Clerk. At each meeting the Clerk informs the Parish Council of all income and expenditure since the previous meeting and this is recorded in the minutes.
Annual spending is typically around £19,000 per year and includes staff costs, general village maintenance of Latimer and Ley Hill as well as supporting good causes.
Other exceptional one-off funds will be allocated to various projects and some projects supplemented by funding partners and grants such as Chiltern District Council and Buckinghamshire County Council. Our income is our Precept at £19,500 for 2019-2020 and from Tylers Hill Burial Ground.
We aim to carry forward sufficient reserves to meet future financial requirements both on-going, anticipated and new.
